dc.description.abstract | The present work was carried out in a community radio called Radio Copinula, 92.1 FM, which serves the municipalities of Guaymango and Jujutla. The coverage area of this radio was simulated using Radio Mobile, so the general settings and why they were chosen are presented. And then, the results of the simulation are contrasted to registries held by Radio Copinula regarding interference reports, issued by community listeners,. The simulation is also helpful to assess the field intensity values in some areas that are known not to be covered by the broadcasted signals of the broadcast station. In addition, standing wave ratio (SWR) measurements were performed and the results are presented. Moreover, since it was verified that the grounding system of Radio Copinula was deteriorated, a grounding mesh is proposed for future implementation in the area of the station and administrative offices, such that it provides protection for people and equipment against atmospheric discharges. It is necessary to emphasize that the measurements performed in order to obtain the standing wave relationship were verified at the mathematical level by means of Smith's charts. Finally, the results and conclusions are presented. | es_MX |
